This is a pic of Eric Hutchinson as he performs before a not-so-full Depot at the Gateway in SLC.  Sorry for the low quality.  I don't have a very good camera phone...  Anyway...  He did way good.  His live stuff is so much better than the album, and since the album is awesome, he pretty much lit it up.

And of course, Eric is SO cool that he agreed to a quick photo op with yours truly.  I went to a little private showing that he did for a SLC radio station (because in addition to Fusion, I work for a station down there) The guy is a stud.  I got his autograph, a picture, and got to talk to him a little bit.  He's a very level headed guy - much more level headed than you would think for a star.  I hope he comes to town again.

holy cow - long time

good morning oh ye loyal listeners of the grif show!!!

I just wanted to thank you for tuning in this morning. We're giving lots of love to Eric Hutchinson today who came to SLC on monday at did a show with OAR at the depot. Eric Hutchinson was awesome. OAR, not so much. I figured in honor of him, we'd do a good review of his album and give him some on-air love

We've also got Fafner, one of the minds behind the statesman, coming in today at 9:30am. We'll be talking aggie sports for sure, but don't tell anyone. It's supposed to be a surprise!!!
